I am a lover of summer weather (because cold weather is just not for me), but I have to say I am a bigger fan of my fall/winter clothes. I think it’s just the cozy sweaters, boots, and accessories that make me love that wardrobe more. One of my favorite accessories that I got for this season is my new fall hat! I got it from Urban Outfitters for under $50 and I am telling you there are so many ways to style it! Today, I am showing you 5 different ways on styling that fall hat you have to get but again the options are limitless!
How to wear a fall hat: option #1
I am starting off with my favorite outfit! I am in love with this sweater from Target! It comes in a bunch of different colors, is long enough to wear with leggings, and so so soft! Not to mention it is under $30! I paired it with these leggings from Aerie. I got these last year and wore the heck out of them because they are so easy to throw on. They have the appearance of leather leggings, just not as thick. They have restocked them this year with a bunch of colors (I might just have to get some more). Lastly, I put on some of my favorite mules from Steve Madden! This would be a cute outfit with or without the hat, but I mean c’mon styling the outfit with the fall hat makes it so much cuter!
How to wear a fall hat: option #2
The weather in Texas right now is so hard to dress for. In the morning it is cool, and then it warms up to the 80s. So I am stuck wondering how do I even dress for this type of weather? If it is still warm where you are, this outfit is for you! This outfit is a perfect transition from summer to “kinda” fall weather. My shoes are Dolce Vita (I can’t link them below, but I found some still in stock at 6PM)! My jeans are Joe’s Jeans (very similar pair here) and my top is from BB Dakota and you can find it here! Styling this outfit with a fall hat can give you that perfect fall look but still allows you to dress in 80 degree weather!
How to wear a fall hat: option #3
I used to think that I could never mix brown and black together. Well, now here I am mixing brown and black together and I am a huge fan of it! I got this turtleneck sweater from H&M last year and honestly so impressed by the quality (find a similar one here). My jeans are 1. State that I bought in a store, but I found some sizes left here! It’s so easy to throw on a brown sweater and black jeans and with the hat..you have yourself an outfit that will make people stop and ask you for the details! Styling this brown fall hat with black is the perfect way to break up the brown and black colors!
How to wear a fall hat: outfit #4
If you don’t have a wrap like this one, stop what you are doing and get one right now!! I discovered these last season and let me tell you it is basically like wearing a blanket (in a cute way). My point is this outfit is so cozy yet so stylish! I will let you in on a little secret about this blanket wrap. I was shopping at Sam’s with my mom for groceries and came across this for only $14, yes so affordable and thought hmm this is so soft and looks cute let me try it out. Let me tell you I wore it so much last season! The quality is so good and great news, they have them again this season and you can find a bunch of colors and patterns here (again, only $14)!! Never would I have guessed that I could find more than just groceries at Sam’s lol. I put on a white turtleneck underneath the blanket wrap from Jcrew which you can find here and my boots are from Kate Spade.

Last but not least, I have styled this hat with a fun cardigan from Amazon (only $36)! I love that this cardigan has so many colors in it so it will go with so much (like this hat)! I paired it with some jeans and the turtleneck as seen in the picture above! I got these heeled booties from Von Maur (which is a store only found in the Midwest).
So who’s going to go buy a fall hat now?
As you can see, this fall hat can basically be styled with anything! It’s the perfect color and makes any outfit stand out more! I looked at a lot of different fall hats and decided on this one because it looked like the best quality and has a cute ribbon/bow detailing.
