Are Drunk Elephant Products Worth the Hype?

There are three reasons why I love Drunk Elephant products: 1. They work wonders 2. The bottles are aesthetically pleasing and look good on my shelf 3. They are made with clean ingredients. I recently started using more Drunk Elephant products after falling in love with the Babyfacial. After a few months of trying out a lot of their products, I am sharing an honest review of ones I think you should buy and ones you should save your money on.

1. Babyfacial

If I was stuck on a deserted island and had to choose one product to take with me, it would be the Drunk Elephant Babyfacial. Last summer, I was struggling to get rid of the texture on my skin. I decided to splurge on this product after reading the reviews and it was 1000% worth it. I use it once a week and not only did it get rid of the texture on my skin, but it helped with fine lines, brightened my skin, and overall cleared it up. Yes it is on the pricier side, but I have been using the same bottle since June 2022 (so it lasts a looong time). It is literally a facial in a bottle (and facials are $100+ everytime you go so this is cheaper than getting a facial). Here is a little secret: they sell it at Sam’s (for $63 opposed to $80).

2. Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser

This is a great gentle cleanser to add to your routine! It does a really good job of removing all of the dirt off of your skin.

3. Protini Polypeptide Firming Moisturizer

Love this moisturizer! It is super lightweight but very effective. I use this in the AM.

4. B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum

If you have dry skin, then this product is for you! I use this at night and wake up with my skin super hydrated. It is especially helpful for the winter months. This one is also sold at Sam’s.

5. Marula Luxury Facial Oil

I love adding this oil to my moisturizer at night. It adds an extra layer of hydration! I usually use 1-2 drops.

6. Umbra Sheer SPF

I honestly don’t know why this doesn’t have good reviews. I love that it is lightweight and does not have a strong SPF smell. It also blends into my skin tone and doesn’t leave a white cast. If SPF is not a part of your daily routine, here is your sign to add it now. It is the best way to prevent wrinkles!

7. Glycolic Serum

This product has similar ingredients to the Babyfacial but not as strong. I use it a few days after my Babyfacial to keep my skin clear and clean out my pores. Get it at Sam’s for cheaper!

8. C-Firma Vitamin C Serum

It is so important to incorporate a Vitamin C Serum into your daily routine! I mix this one with my moisturizer in the morning. It helps lighten up acne scars and dark spots on my face. I am not sure why the reviews say it has a bad smell; I honestly haven’t noticed it. Also at Sam’s for a better price.

9. Lippe Balm

My mom got this lip balm for me for Christmas. I have only used it a couple of times, but I would say it works pretty good. Honestly, my $5 Carmex works wonders so when it comes to lip balm I usually don’t splurge.

10. Retinol

I had been hearing how you should add retinol to your skincare routine so I gave this one a try. For me personally, I don’t think it did anything for my skin. I have super sensitive skin and I think it was making me breakout so I stopped using it.

Time to incorporate DE into your skincare routine!

As you can see, I am a big Drunk Elephant fan and have tried out a lot of their products. The one product I have not tried yet is the D-Bronzi Bronzing Drops that are going viral on Tik Tok. They have been sold out for awhile now, but I defintely want to see what the hype is about.
